Bundle 03:48
Seven years with local hope They take it in don’t stop don’t gloat Try to reconsider fees Talk him up it’s all to please Sensing heat the fire hits We don’t have the strenght left What they made is coming down This is in the smallest town Because you feel Half as real Like most people Personalities they steal Rough and old it’s wearing thin Loose thread bearing skin But battering the days wind Is tough when bodies just don’t bend I can hear him try to sing It’s only breath his words don’t ring I guess we save the way to win Ambition is the foreign sin Because you feel Half as real Like most people Personalities they steal And I wonder Who who is bundled up and has lost it And I wonder And more to come means mostly done So take what’s left with it we’ll run And find the face that feeds the tracks The weight we rest it on our backs With everything a social swing There’s more to do and more to bring (Chrous)
2.
Over My Head 03:08
Take the chances I’m given And use them up Cause they don’t come by often enough Who’s the light haired fair man come to rescue? If I thought for a second This wouldn’t work My mouth I would not have opened, no But that’s not how I pictured this ending with you Now it’s over my head Don’t forget every word I said You’re so familiar to me There is really no point To sit back and waste All the passion I had saved up for you It’s only three days But feels like more When on the first it seems I didn’t fail to bore Now with just two left I wish that this would end So you could return home then there’d be no excuses Now it’s over my head Don’t forget every word I said You’re so familiar to me (repeat)
3.
Hope what I thought Made the most sense Get what I got But is there still friendship? What was I thinking? It’s just not like me Letting go of first time everything So low I fell Out of what we were This lovely little (repeat) There was no dramatic It is quite hard to explain How we lost each other On the clearest of days What was I thinking? It’s just not like me Letting go of first time everything (chorus) To not be sure of what you did to yourself (repeat)
4.
Outside tiny windows Impenetrable land made of cloud With texture, rolling hills, white meadows Movements that unsettle And remind one where we are Movements that unsettle And remind one where we are Intentionally out of control Seemingly graceful Acting like birds Acting like birds It's not safe To be naked Young or creative anymore (Chorus x2) How close we pass water How quickly the ground comes up Arriving in California on a cloudy day, Is not what I expected It's not safe To be naked Young or creative anymore (Chorus x6)
5.
All My Love 04:08
Softening sigh Elevate eyes To the level we both needed How many tries? Hopefulness Defenseless Will it be the same in years? All my love for this You get all my love for this (repeat) Sweet smells new truth Petals not the only proof You never forget laughable words That I seem to So long old skies I’m finished with those goodbyes With you but this time feels different I took my advice All my love for this You get all my love for this (repeat)
6.
Untouchable 04:08
All that I thought about for the longest time All that I thought about for the longest time But he’s untouchable, untouchable, untouchable For me Across the waves Through my defence Messages speak Tell me it’s over That it’s over Yes it’s over Must be heartache Shortness of breath So I can’t speak To say it’s over That’s it’s over Yes it’s over And if you read all that he wrote Then you would know But would you understand how deep it goes Never forget all the words said They stick around in the front of my head Clearing the doubt that I could have changed anything All that I thought about for the longest time All that I thought about for the longest time But he’s untouchable, untouchable, untouchable For me (Chorus) All that I thought about for the longest time (repeat)
7.
The Deal 03:37
The deal Is this for real? Honesty is where we should be at Awkward circumstance Stepped up and took a chance Underfed and we know why There was conscious trying To lure that kiss to my bed Got to have more than this Hold my head that feels good you said Shouldn’t take too long maybe one more song Glad that you move quickly so it is not strickly Me who knows what they want The deal Better than my own feel If I say please will you open up? Locked on those hands With the face at a glance Dank place to meet was fine Let’s move on to unwind No more sour taste tests Or wed men No more sour taste tests (Chorus) The deal (repeat)
8.
So speak the words And make them sound effortless Strung together I receive the nicest gift It’s for my eyes to scan I respond with my hand Giving you shivers I needed attention Did I forget to mention? Even though I am old It’s still new From where I sit Is this it:? Every day is different with you We don’t settle down Step across the puddle My jacket on the ground I needed attention Did I forget to mention? Even though I am old It’s still new (repeat) You make me tall (repeat) But that’s not all you do
9.
Held out my hand this morning Still all is dark but I’m on my way What is it that I just left worn out Thought that I understood I just can’t I just can’t Strewn across the floor are my thoughts broken Once I did think they were all perfectly in place Spun around too much it’s a shame I’m no dancer I just might tumble to my face To my face Don’t bring me down boy I needed you A life afraid and wasted while I get us through I’ll hold this pair in place so resemblance is fine I won’t take shotgun seats or wait in line (repeat) Noticing all the new creases in the mirror Realizing for once the true expression on my face Why did I throw back all that doubt in my head I’m not the happy boy I used to be Used to be (Chorus)
10.
Boyfriend boyfriend where are you? I aint’ got no money and I aint’ got no boyfriend (repeat) Tell me how to grow into what you know Skip past all the quiet months of shyness that I hold Formalities be stashed I’ve no use for that Seems that age has snuck up to attack It’s the light that missed me It’s these man sized titties Someone should have told the kids the truth about what’s pretty You notice no eyes staring, suddenly you’re caring And willing to take plunges if they were daring Soon it’s gonna come around It’s gonna sing the song you never wrote It will astound (Chorus) How much time must pass How long can I last What’s the chance he’s out there but you’re crossing different paths Maybe I was blinking My Islands slowly sinking I need a strong arm to do the rescuing Now I will accost all the time lost Grab it by the neck and make it cough up what I want There’s no getting back years of singles past What would be the point in lamenting that Soon it’s gonna come around It’s gonna sing the song you never wrote It will astound (Chorus) I ain’t got no money but I’ve got to get my boyfriend back
11.
Soft from childhood gets all in the way Unable to extent height I thought I ought to So we never talked Never got to speak Before engines drowned Drowned out everything Silent reeling as you run away Towards prior commited life streams Never had the luck Photographic only Images to bed What when those fade slowly? I think it’s about time to get it together (repeat) Wasted nothing Every thought was used on you Big part fiction Was the image that I drew It’s a lot of slow Forcibly creative Wit that tries to grow How when I’m frustrated?
12.
Navy Brown 04:33
Heavy on my back Makes me work Then takes a nap Unaware that I retract Tried to gain perspective To step back When you let me go All that I recall Staring at the ground The color of your shoes And underneath your shoes Navy brown Body and soul Attention deprived Everyone remarks On sunken eyes Tend to forget Once butterflies Flew from the stomach For clamer skies (Chorus)
